Everyone has been or will be touched by cancer at least once in their lives, either personally or through someone they love. Pete and Kris have been and that’s why they decided to enter the Shitbox Rally again for 2017 and help raise money for Cancer Council Australia.
Cancer Council Australia is the nation’s peak non-government cancer control organisation and advises the Australian Government and other agencies on practices and policies to help prevent, detect and treat cancer.
For the 2016 rally they set a modest target of $4,000, and through your generosity and a lot of hard work from Kris and Pete and their supporters they ended up raising more than $7,500 towards a rally total of more than $1.5 million. This time they've set their sights on a $10,000 target.
You can help Kris and Pete to meet their target and help in the fight against cancer by giving whatever you can. The more people that know about cancer, the work of Cancer Council Australia and the Shitbox Rally, the greater the impact so please spread the word among your family, friends and work colleagues by liking us on facebook (www.facebook.com/BeardiesBucket) and sharing our page.
